Who is the WINNER FAMILY ???

The Winner family is a fourth generation family of sea captains beginning back in the year of 1885. They are pioneers of fishing the Gulf Stream waters off the coast of North Carolina and the Florida Keys. Charter fishing began back in 1945, when Captain Carl Winner would take passengers deep sea fishing by launching surf boats off the beach, in front of the Carolina Beach Boardwalk.
For many years, The Winner Fleet fished the virgin territories of the Dry Tortugas out of the Florida Keys in 1950's, the Carolina Beach Marina was developed and is where the Winner Fleet continues to operate today.
